Hack Symbian 9.1-9.3 with Norton Antivirus to install all programs (workaround to expired certificate problem)

  1. Set the date to 31 December 2015
  2. Insert SIM Card with active internet (wi-fi is not good, you must use SIM card with internet access)
  3. Install “NortonSymbianHack.sisx”.
  4. Launch it.
  5. Go Options – Anti-Virus – Quarantine list.
  6. Go Options – Restore. Accept prompt.
  7. Exit application. Delete Norton from Application Manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete “C:\shared\” folder.
  8. Remove SIM card and restart the phone
  9. Install “RomPatcherPlus_3.1.sisx”.
  10. Launch and apply patches:
    • Open4all for full access to file system.
    • Installserver for installing any unsigned applications.

(If “Installserver” has red cross, follow steps 8 to 15.) (If checked, reboot now your phone.)

Note: Set patches to auto if needed. (Options – Add to auto)

  1. Install X-Plore.

  2. Open it.

  3. Press (Menu – Tools – Configuration).

  4. Check all (Show Hidden Files, etc.).

  5. Open “installservers_pack.zip”.

  6. Choose what Symbian OS you have. (List below)

  7. Copy “installserver.exe” from the folder of your OS to “C:/sys/bin”. (No need to apply patch on RomPatcher.)

  8. Reboot phone. Phone is now hacked.
