Email providers and settings for Windows Phone 7.x and other devices that can't connect to modern SSL/TLS resources

As of January 2022, email does not work on WP7.x phones and other devices that can't connect to modern SSL/TLS resources with almost all email services (Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Yahoo etc.) with their official settings. The reason: expired certificates prevent email client to connect via SSL/TLS1.0 to corresponding IMAP/POP/SMTP servers.

Email services without SSL. As of Sep 15 2023 I know only 3 email services without SSL:

For those who lives in USA ( US cell phone number requires for registration ):

  1. juno.com:
    email: xxx@juno.com
    user name: xxx
    password: your Juno password
    POP3: pop.juno.com, port 110, no SSL
SMTP: smtp.juno.com, port 25, no SSL

  2. netzero.com:
email: xxx@netzero.net (alias: xxx@netzero.comyou can select it to be a default address when sending email )
    user name: xxx
    password: your Netzero password
    POP3: pop.netzero.com, port 110, no SSL
SMTP: smtp.netzero.com, port 25, no SSL

For those, who lives outside USA:

i.ua (no English interface, use Google Translate)

email: xxx@i.ua
user name: xxx@i.ia
password: your account password
POP3: pop.i.ua, port 110
SMTP: smtp.i.ua, ports 25 or 2525

SMTP of i.ua is a "premium"/paid service. It is very cheap (around $1.50/year) but not every credit/debit card is accepted. For example, US cards are not accepted. Most of non-US bank cards are accepted (except cards issued in Russia and Belarus).
